So I just heard the Governor gave into the special interest animal rights groups and vetoed the dogs at large bill. For those of you that don't know this bill was written so that houndsman did not have to leash their dogs while hunting. Currently the local governments have to pass these laws and often do not think about hunting dogs. Their laws just say all dogs must be leashed. That doesn't make sense for hunting dogs and really you can't hunt that way. Therefore their laws go against the states overall hunting policies. Make sure you email your state senator and assembly man and ask them to override this veto!!!
